The cost of Diesel (bulk tanker delivery) has soared from £1.16 per litre just 12 months ago, to £1.79 per litre today.
That’s a remarkable increase of more than 54%, with forecourt prices likely to exceed £2.00 per litre unless the Government follows other European countries and cuts fuel duty in next weeks’ Spring Statement.
