Firmin Funds Traffic Calming Scheme

We are pleased to have funded a £35,000 traffic calming scheme in Linton – the location of our Head Office.

Two signs have been replaced with a white gateway design and a new 40mph sign has been installed along the busy A229. The work involved fitting dragon’s teeth road markings through the village and extending the 40mph zone.

Chairman of Linton Parish Council, Bernard Cresswell said “As a Harley Davidson rider and the council’s Speed Watch coordinator, I know only too well that we need to reduce speeds through our communities.”

As a local business with strong family ties to the community, we are pleased to have been able to step in and fund the road safety improvements in the village.
