The pallet distribution network is currently experiencing a huge increase in volumes, which is partly attributable to the easing of lockdown restrictions across the country. With immediate effect, the following temporary changes will be made to the network’s service provisions to ensure that service levels can be maintained during these unprecedented times.

  • Our ‘premium’ 09:00 – 10:00 service will be suspended.
  • The Saturday delivery window will be extended to 09:00 – 17:00, essentially making Saturday an all-day service.
  • Our ‘economy’ service will be extended to 3 days.

The significant increase in the volume of freight moving through the pallet network is causing delays to the trunk vehicles returning to depots. The decision to suspend the 09:00 – 10:00 premium delivery service will ensure that customer delivery times can be met.
